The drawings on this page are about part of my character watch designs in the mid 90's... some of them were realised and mass produced. At that time, lenticular watch dials and watch straps were new and so popular. It is a prefect choice for character watch designs which showing different scenes of a story.

During the early 90's, I had chance to develop many character watches. Star Wars character watch project is one of my favourite. The drawings showing here are original concepts different to the final production.

Superman Character Watch
When I design the Superman character project, I read the original D.C. Comic and learn more background about the character Clark Kent before I worked out the concept above. This is a deluxe edition watch concept features leather straps which matching with Superman's costume and the reporter pass as the warranty card, also having the rocket which brought Clark to planet earth as the booklet. All item nicely packed in a blue color tin box.

Disney is the major character watch development party in the world, I always generate product concepts by blending the signature's characteristic of the main roles with watch elements as well as affordable technologies.

Watch Cabinet for Disney Character Watches
There are so many character watches being produced from the watch company I worked for. And we wanted to show the collections to our clients, I designed a watch cabinet to display our Disney character watches. I selected the tiny Mickey and Minnie artworks together with steel like laminates, bolts and nuts, acrylic sheets as the materials. It is an one-off cabinet set with high and low showcases and storage.
